More than a Facebook group — a Kern County brotherhood.
Who we are
Bakersfield Veterans is a community of more than 1,200 veterans from every branch and every era — Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force — all rooted right here in Kern County. What started as a Facebook group has become a network of brothers and sisters helping each other navigate life after the uniform.
What we do
- ★ Maintain trusted directories of veteran-owned businesses and local nonprofits.
- ★ Host monthly meet-and-greets, ceremonies, and fundraisers across Kern County.
- ★ Share leads on jobs, housing, healthcare, and benefits in our private group.
- ★ Connect veterans in crisis with the resources and people who can help — fast.
